Story

Manuel has extensive experience in venture capital, innovation, and investment strategies. As an expert in early-stage startups, he has led investment and scouting initiatives to support high-impact entrepreneurs.

Previously, he led the Scouting area at ChileGlobal Ventures, Fundación Chile, overseeing open innovation programs, managing the angel investor network, and spearheading the investment process for the CLIN Fund, which has backed 16 startups. He has actively participated on the boards of several portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance for growth and expansion.

Before entering the venture ecosystem, Manuel worked in the financial industry in investment and structuring roles. With a strong background in finance and innovation, he has in-depth knowledge of scaling technology ventures from inception to international expansion. He is also well-connected within the regional venture capital landscape, supporting founders in planning and executing future funding rounds.

Now, transitioning from investor to entrepreneur, Manuel is building the insurtech startup Nico Seguros, leveraging his expertise to innovate within the insurance industry.
